Ingredients
Method
Rinse a chilled rocks glass with absinthe, discarding any excess, and set aside.
Add the cognac, syrup and bitters to a mixing glass with ice and stir until well-chilled.
Strain into the prepared rocks glass.
Garnish by twisting a swath of lemon peel over the surface of the drink to express its oils, then discard the peel.
